We recently had the honor of designing a bespoke wedding gown for one of our favorite people, Bree, whose wedding exuded the kind of elegance that’s hard to forget. Bree’s wedding day was designed like an elevated dinner party, surrounded by her closest friends and family—a celebration that felt like pure magic, especially with the atmosphere captured in stunning photography by Matt Godkin, who captured some breathtaking rain-soaked shots that added to the romance.
For Bree’s gown, we chose an incredible delustered satin fabric, known for its subtle, cinematic sheen and luxurious feel. The silhouette was crafted to celebrate her iconic style, with a delicate basque waist and soft draping at both the hip and neckline for a look that balanced structure with fluidity.
We added a flat, cinched corset for support and shape, while statement editorial sleeves gave an avant-garde touch that could be removed for a sleek transition from ceremony to celebration. To finalise the vision, she wore a delicate Chantilly lace-edged veil that gave a vintage touch.
We approached Bree’s gown with a true couture process, starting with a calico prototype to ensure every detail was perfectly executed before cutting into satin. Each fitting was an opportunity to refine and perfect, leading to a piece that felt entirely “her”—a gown that not only looked stunning but also moved beautifully through the rain-soaked streets and the night’s festivities.
Bree’s dress was everything we believe a wedding gown should be: timeless, tailored to her spirit, and designed for unforgettable moments.
