You may not have been dreaming about your gown your whole life, but she has! Named ‘One to watch’ by Vogue and ‘Australias most romantic gowns’ by Harpers Bazaar, Moira’s journey spanned from Fashion School in London, to designing in Dublin, and working throughout Europe alongside the industry’s most respected creators.
When a holiday romance turned into her forever love, Moira opened her first boutique in the heart of Sydney in 2013 and began bringing life to her own couture creations.
Often found with a Barrys tea (or red wine!) in hand, you will find Moira in the workroom, liaising with her team, and most often, the biggest champion for her brides.

Designing memories
At the core, our gowns are as carefully considered from the inside as the out, crafted to feel like an extension of the bride and highlight her natural beauty. Pioneering an innovative use of Parisienne corsetry and signature silhouettes, a Moira Hughes gown sculpts and lifts from the inside while flowing effortlessly on the outside. An MH bride can dance the night away knowing a team of artisans have her back.

Although our designs are created in Sydney, we have established a global network of multicultural artisans from which we source specialized details and rare fabric to complete the vision.
We have recently expanded our network to include a select number of bridal boutiques around the word that feel like home. Partnering with these incredible boutiques allow us to connect with diverse women walking the aisle- their way.
