Imogen and Cristiano were wed in a beautiful Garden Island Naval Chapel, inspired by her Fathers career in the Navy. Overlooking the Sydney Harbour it offered the couple an amazing view of the water.
Keeping with the modern black and white theme, Imogen designed her bold invitations herself, suiting the couples personality perfectly!
Moira and Imogen worked closely together a year before her wedding, starting with swatches of fabric and sketches this custom made gown was exactly what Imogen wanted. The French raw silk reflected the light and gave the Imogen the movement she was looking for in her wedding dress.
The Parisian corsetry sculpted the brides body leaving her with a beautiful silhouette in all her pictures
The sparklers were the perfect way to end such a fun and chic wedding...

To Elope or Not to Elope?
We've all considered in the the midst of agonising over seating plans and scouring Pintrest during lunch breaks for that perfect wedding detail. But is eloping really so bad? With the average wedding approaching $50'000, it is quickly becoming a an attractive option amongst newly engaged couples. Far from the banished Runaway Bride of our parents era, eloping is now embraced for a variety of reasons. Moira Hughes Bride, Sarah, opted for the full ceremony. Hair, make Up, Couture Gown - everything you would expect at a wedding minus the guests! She says it was ‘a breath of fresh air’ to keep the wedding an intimate day between the couple. ‘Friends and family were shocked at first but we had a party to include them a few weeks later, they thought it was exciting!’ Meaning she could just relax and enjoy the party atmosphere rather than the pressure of calling it a 'Reception' and agonising over every aspect.
